Using Power Box
Tap your contactless card, scan the QR code, or use the Power Box app at a station to rent a fully charged portable power bank. Take it with you, then return it to any participating Power Box station across the network.
No. You can access a power bank with contactless payment or by scanning the station QR code. The Power Box app is available for those who want to manage rentals, find stations and view their history.
You can return your power bank to any available, participating Power Box station across the network. It does not need to be the station you rented from.
Rentals cost £2 for the first hour and £0.50 for each additional hour, with charges capped at a maximum of £5 per 24 hours.
Power banks should be returned within 47 hours.
Rentals have a 47-hour return period. If the power bank is not returned within the applicable rental terms, the relevant charge/deposit arrangements apply and the power bank may be treated as purchased by the customer.
Yes. The power bank is designed to be carried with you, so you can keep charging your phone while you continue your day or night.

Installing a Power Box station
There is no upfront equipment cost under the standard Power Box venue model — Power Box provides and installs the station as part of the partnership agreement.
